The Sunrise vs. Her
I watched the sunrise this morning, and your face popped into mind; I wondered how God could bless the world, with two visions so devine.
Up until this morning and once I met you, my eyes knew they came across Perfect; with the sun on its rise, and your cheeks, lips, and eyes, light my heart and day up on the surface.
So much beauty within, the smoothest of skin, to wake up to you any man would be proud; on the darkest of days, shine the sun’s brightest rays, and refuse to be hidden by clouds.
In my mind like the sunrise, you start up my day, with in image of your smile and your hair; this battle you’ve won, because unlike the Sun, when nightfalls, on my mind your still there.
With words never spoken, two lives intertwined, and friendship was soon brought to light; while hoping for more, who knows whats in store, as the sunrise stays bright in my life.
