Name: Kimberly I.
Where are you from: Dayton,OH
Favorite Music Artist(s): Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, The Internet
OTM: Tell us a little about yourself. What do you do when you’re not modeling?
Kimberly: I perform with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, teach about 12 dance classes a week in styles ranging from Ballet to Jazz to Body Percussion, and I choreograph and perform in musicals. I also love to run and to explore new places.
OTM: Tell us something we wouldn’t know about you.
Kimberly: I have scoliosis, which means my spine has a curve in it that can get worse over time. When I was 14, I had surgery to correct it and they placed two 18″ rods on the sides of my spine. Yes, they are still there today and, yes, it does hurt, but I find ways to work around it to keep dancing.
OTM: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Kimberly: In 5 years, I see myself dancing on Broadway, preferably in The Lion King, or out performing on a Cruise Ship. Definitely still dancing, performing, and modelling.
OTM: If you could give advice to an up and coming model what would you tell them?
Kimberly: I would tell them to set specific goals for themselves, and to follow through on them. We all have dreams, but it’s the ones who really stick to them and persevere that will fulfill them. Where there is a will, there’s a way.
OTM: What’s one word to describe yourself?
