OTM: Tell us a little about yourself. What do you do when you’re not modeling?
Amanda: I am a scheduling clerk for the Circuit Court in Prince George’s County, Maryland. To be honest with you, I am just your average young woman trying to enjoy her youth. I love to travel, that’s really what I like to do most. Lately, I’ve started going to different museums each weekend. I think it’s important as young adults to expand our knowledge as best we can, that is our ultimate power.
OTM: Tell us something we wouldn’t know about you.
Amanda: I was a college cheerleader and I also had my own radio segment.
OTM: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Amanda: I’m a writer. I graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a degree in Communications. Hopefully, I will be on my way or nearly finished my book. I want to write a self-help book for college students.
OTM: If you could give advice to an up and coming model what would you tell them?
Amanda: My advice would definitely have to be to love yourself, and be open-minded. True beauty will always show through photographs. In the society we live in today, self-love is necessary. The most natural shots turn out the best – when you aren’t trying too hard, but everything gracefully falls into place. With an open mind, comes an open heart. In order to step out of your comfort zone, you have to be willing to try a different scenery, atmosphere, and technique.
OTM: What’s one word to describe yourself?
