OTM: Tell us a little about yourself. What do you do when you’re not modeling?
Angelica: I’m Puerto Rican and I’m a shorty, only 5’2. I’m also a vegetarian, and I’m 19 years old. When I’m not modeling I’m working as a waitress. I’ve recently got back into doing yoga and I write frequently mostly poetry. I’m easy to get along with and I’m known for being very ditzy. I help train dogs every once in awhile and I have 5 dogs. I don’t smoke or drink and I’m nothing like a party girl. I love solitude and I support the natural hair movement. I’ve been natural almost 2 years now and I love to give tips and support other women who struggle with their natural hair. Hence my social media name is naturaleangel. My natural hair journey is a huge thing for me and something I take pride in because it taught me to really love myself. I haven’t been talking about it recently but I’ll be getting back into it soon.
OTM: Tell us something we wouldn’t know about you.
Angelica: Some things people may not know about me, although people that have followed me for awhile know, is that I do sing. I still keep a few videos up on my page but I deleted a lot. I’ve recently thought about singing again and I have people close to me pushing me in that direction saying I should start again or that they miss it but it’s something I’ve recently kept to myself. Another thing is that I’m beyond flexible, it’s like I have no spine. I didn’t do any type of sport or dance, I’ve just been naturally flexible since I was a kid and it’s kinda creepy and not something I show too many people but it’s also something cool and kind of funny. I also do art to pass my time but that’s another thing I like to keep to myself my own little personal things I like to do. One more thing people may not know is I enjoy doing other people’s makeup more rather than doing my own.
OTM: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Angelica: In 5 years all I see right now is a better me and I hope that the path I’m on in 5 years inspires lots of people to be something that makes them love themselves to the fullest.
OTM: If you could give advice to an up and coming model what would you tell them?
Angelica: Some advice I would give to an up and coming model is to not be afraid to get out of your comfort zone but it’s okay to set boundaries and strive for something that represents you. Don’t lose yourself trying to be something your not.
OTM: What’s one word to describe yourself?
