OTM: Tell us a little about yourself. What do you do when you’re not modeling?
Kayla: I am a sophomore at James Madison University majoring in Studio Arts with and Photography concentration so I’m mainly the one behind the camera. I’m also in an art honors fraternity called Kappa Pi and in a modeling organization called Esteem Models. So normally I’m working on art projects, going to Esteem practices, or working.
OTM: Tell us something we wouldn’t know about you.
Kayla: Most people think that I’m just black and white, but I am also Puerto Rican.
OTM: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Kayla: I see myself starting my own photography company and making a name for myself as an artist.
OTM: If you could give advice to an up and coming model what would you tell them?
Kayla: I would tell an up and coming model that while focusing on your modeling career make sure that you also focus on you and your self-confidence. It’s one thing to look beautiful, but it’ll mean a lot more to yourself when you also feel beautiful on the inside. When you feel and look the part you will have a sparkle that people can’t help but notice and then you will be truly unstoppable!
OTM: What’s one word to describe yourself?
